Every year, Etsy chooses a “Color of the Year.” This year, I received an email from them saying they were choosing “Lime Cream.” The email then showcased some vendors’ offerings of what Etsy considers to be lime cream.
Why Lime Cream?

This color, reminiscent of DMC’s 164 and DMC 3364, offers a perfect harmony between vibrancy and subtlety. It’s a color that stands out without overwhelming, making it a versatile choice for various embroidery designs.

The DMC color 3364 leans toward the calming side of colors while the DMC 164 looks to me like it’s more of a Spring color full of hope like Spring generally is.
