Simple Leaves, A Free Embroidery Pattern For Beginners

Sometimes the simplest things in the garden capture my attention, and I have to photograph them.
This branch, or leaves if you will, stood out as the most beautiful I’d seen. I’m not really sure what type of plant this is, but I knew it would make a good embroidery pattern.
As always, my hand embroidery patterns are free, all I ask is that you use them for personal use only.

Instructions for pattern use:
- Tape pattern to a sunny window/or light box
- Tape cloth you want to stich on over the pattern and center
- Trace lines onto cloth with a Dritz 676-60 Mark-B-Gone Marking Pen, Blue“>Mark-B-Gone pen (click here for pen)
- Place pattern in hoop
- Stich as you choose with any type of stich, DMC thread, or beads you want
