Every year, Etsy chooses a “Color of the Year.” This year, I received an email from them saying they were choosing “Lime Cream.” The email then showcased some vendors’ offerings of what Etsy considers to be lime cream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Lime Cream?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lime Cream is an invigorating blend of citrusy lime and soft cream tones, creating a balanced color that is both striking and soothing. This color, reminiscent of DMC\u2019s 164 and DMC 3364, offers a perfect harmony between vibrancy and subtlety. It\u2019s a color that stands out without overwhelming, making it a versatile choice for various embroidery designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DMC color 3364 leans toward the calming side of colors while the DMC 164 looks to me like it’s more of a Spring color full of hope like Spring generally is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
